We are so happy to have been chosen for the Wood Street Heroes Award.

The Remembering Nell Foundation was founded 7 years ago, a year after the Manchester Arena bombing in which our 14 year old daughter Nell lost her life.

Nell was a very caring and thoughtful young girl who loved to read and would help anyone if she could.

Having made enquiries about Wood Street Mission we felt that everything they did fit in with the ideals of the Remembering Nell Foundation.

Nell was a passionate reader and the Books Forever Appeal really appealed to us, so on Nell’s birthday every year we donate a selection of books. Again the Christmas Appeal is one that we always donate to… Nell loved Christmas so much and being able to choose gifts to donate that we know Nell would have chosen herself is lovely.

We know that Nell would be proud to support both of these appeals.

The most rewarding part of supporting Wood Street Mission is knowing the good and significant work they do and we would encourage anyone to support them.
