Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement – 17th March 2020

17th March 2020

Following yesterday’s Government guidance on Coronavirus, Wood Street Mission will be temporarily suspending regular services to families until further notice. This will be reviewed again on 1st April 2020.

There will be a Crisis Service accessible to Support Workers only, via our referrals@woodstreetmission.org.uk email address. Please complete a Referral Form - available here - and a brief explanation of the family’s circumstances in an email.

The families we support are amongst the most vulnerable in our society and we will return to normal services as soon as possible when it is safe to do so.

Thank you to all our generous supporters and those who have been collecting books towards our Book Appeal. We will not be accepting donations of any items either for drop off, direct delivery or collection for the foreseeable future, but ask you to please hold on to them until the situation is updated.  We will also be suspending volunteering opportunities which will also be reviewed on 1st April.
This situation is unprecedented and we know it will hit the most vulnerable the hardest. If you would like to support the families who need our help now and in the future, you can donate here.
