Wood Street Mission Shortlisted for ‘Most Loved Charity’ at the I Love MCR Awards 2025! 

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news – Wood Street Mission has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Most Loved Charity category at the I Love Manchester Awards 2025! 

The I Love MCR Awards celebrate the people, organisations and initiatives that make Greater Manchester such a special place. To be recognised among the city’s most loved charities is an incredible honour, and it’s all thanks to the amazing support of our community. 

For over 150 years, we’ve been helping families in Manchester and Salford living on a low income, providing essential items like school uniforms, clothing, bedding, books and toys. Being shortlisted for this award highlights not just our work, but the kindness of everyone who donates, volunteers and stands with us in the fight against child poverty. 

Now, we need your help to take it one step further!
