Every child deserves to have fun at Christmas, and our supporters helped thousands of children in Manchester and Salford have toys and gifts to open on Christmas Day 2017. Thanks to their help we were able to give out over 11,000 gifts to 3677 children. On behalf of all our families, thank you to everyone who donated for your generosity at this challenging time of year. Thanks to our supporters we were also able to hold a fabulous Christmas Party for the families we help, attended by 227 children and 115 adults. Our huge thanks to the Sheridan Suite who not only generously provided the venue but supplied food, decorations, activities and kids Christmas jumpers. Famous boxer Amir Khan also supported the event by attending and spending time with the families. There was lots of entertainment for a really fun and festive day out, including a bouncy castle, human sized snow globe, panto characters and dancing competitions. The children could also get their faces painted, and were given gifts and selection boxes to take home. As well as our celebrity visitor we were also lucky to be visited by Santa himself, and of course our mascot Woody! It really helped make it a Christmas the children wouldn't forget.
