Wood Street Mission's aim is to help alleviate the poverty of children, young people and their families through offering practical help in the form of good quality clothing, bedding, small household items, toys and baby equipment to families living in the Manchester and Salford areas.

Mission

Wood Street Mission's goal is to see that all children, young people and families in the Manchester and Salford areas are free from poverty and able to provide essential items for themselves and their families. By working in partnership with all statutory and voluntary agencies and the wider communities the families will receive the best package of support that will not only help them in their time of need but empower them for the future and help them achieve self reliance and a life free of poverty.
