School Uniform Project 2014 Now Open For Referrals!

Every year our school uniform project gives away hundreds of school uniforms to children and teenagers who would otherwise have to go to school in everyday clothes.

Uniform packs - consisting of a jumper, two shirts and a pair of trousers or skirt - are given to families to help offset the costs of the new school year and allow their children fit in with peers.  All families must first be referred by a support worker.

The project is logistically challenging to deliver given it caters for children aged 4 - 16 and the range of uniform combinations available.

But it is a vital source of support to families struggling to cope financially after the summer holidays.

The closing date for referrals is Friday 4 July.

Appointments for collections will be made between Monday 18 August and Friday 29 August
