Thank you for supporting our Easter Project

We must say a big thank you to all our supporters for making the Easter Project 2013 a huge sucess.

We were able more famlies than ever before this Easter, with 2,220 children receiving free Easter treats and more than 950 families receiving a free food hamper.

Poverty often means children going without the little treats that other kids take for granted. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters we were able to ensure that no child went without a treat this Easter - in fact most kids went away with 2 or 3 chocolate eggs each!

We had more than 7,000 chocolate eggs donated and were able to help several other local groups working with families in need with the excess.

The food hampers we distribute at Easter time are also a huge help to the families we support. The Easter holidays can be a stressful time for many parents who struggle with the extra costs of providing meals for their children, who would normally receive free school meals during the week.  Thanks to the donations of non-perishable food we recieved we were able to make up substantial food hampers, containing a good variety of food, for every single family referred to us at Easter time.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated eggs, food and finances to our Easter Appeal 2013. You helped to ensure that over 2,000 disadvantaged kids had a happy Easter.
