Historic Walk

Fancy learning more about our part in the city's social history?

We have commissioned a historic walk of central Manchester to run alongside our exhibition Queues, Clogs and Redemption.

The guided walks with Manchester tour guide Suzanne Hindle will take place on Wednesday 9 and 16 September between our office on Wood Street and the Marble Arch pub in Ancoats (walk operates in both directions)

Tickets are £5 and include a 'Wood Street' bitter at the end either in the Marble Arch pub or Gas Lamp on Bridge street. The beer is available for a limited period only and is being brewed by the Marble Brewery to mark the opening of our Exhibition.

Walkers will also have the opportunity to view our exhibition at Wood Street.

Book a place on the walk here
