Helping Meet the Costs of the New School Year

A record number of families will benefit from Wood Street’s School Uniform Project this year.

Overall 641 families and 1332 children - referred by their support worker over a four week period in June - will receive a school uniform in time for the new school year.

Thank you to everyone who donated whether with financial or uniform donations, including the project's main funders, BNY Mellon, the Brian Kennedy Trust, the 29th May 1961 Charitable Trust and BASF.

Your support will make a tangible difference to the lives of local children this September as they embark on a new school year looking smart and fitting in with peers.

We are still accepting donations but please do get it it to us as soon as possible so we can distribute at the start of the school year.
