Wood Street Mission helps around 7,000 children from 3,000 struggling local families in Manchester and Salford each year. We are a small charity doing a big job and we're dependent on donations from supporters to help continue and expand our work so that we can best respond to the needs of the families we help.

Every donation you give helps us to make a real, positive difference to local children and families who are affected by poverty.

  • £10 will provide a new toy and book for a child at Christmas.

  • £40 would kit out a child with new uniform for the start of the school year, helping them fit in and fulfil their potential

One of the best ways that you can support our work and help local children is by setting up a regular donation to Wood Street Mission. This type of regular, ongoing support allows us to plan ahead and make the best use of your gift .

To make either a single or regular donation to Wood Street Mission, please download our Donation Form, which also enables you to Gift Aid your donations to us. This means for every £1 you donate to us we receive 25p from HMRC at no extra cost to you - making your donation go even further in support of our work.

Could you help us by taking one of our Home Collection Boxes? Your spare change all adds up! If you'd like us to send you a flat-pack Home Collection Box please get in touch.

Thank you for your support
