Great Manchester Run

A big thank you to the 14 runners who took part in the Great Manchester Run for us.

Over £3K was raised in the event for our holiday book clubs which promote reading and literacy to local children and families.

The team was made up of some regular donors, 2 groups MTSG (Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group) and Littlewoods Clearance, and 10 year old Ashley Hunter who ran for us in the junior event.

Runners were invited back to Wood Street afterwards for a cup of tea and a chat. You can see pictures on our Facebook page here

Taking part in a challenge event is a great way to get fit, have fun and raise money to help local children living in poverty.

Not all events require as much exertion and advance training.

Watch this space for news of an exciting Zip Wire Challenge later this year.

Thinking of doing a challenge event for us? Email our fundraiser Sophie and she will be happy to help.
